Morgan Fairchild was born Patsy Anne McClenny, February 3 1950. She is an American actress. Her fame grew during the latter part of the 70s and early 80s through her roles on a variety of programs on television, in which she was portrayed as a glamourous actress. Fairchild's acting career started in 1973 as Jennifer Pace on the CBS soap opera Search for Tomorrow. As the first actress portraying Jenna Wade, she made her debut in the CBS soap opera daytime Dallas in 1978. In the following year, she landed a leading role in the NBC Drama Flamingo Road (1980), which won her a Golden Globe Award as Best Actress in a Television Series - for that series. She co-starred on ABC's shortlived show, a primetime action drama Paper Dolls. In the following season between 1985 and 1986 she portrayed the role of attorney Jordan Roberts as part of Falcon Crest. Fairchild has also performed in theatre and appeared as a guest in a variety of television shows, including Murphy Brown (for which she received a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in the field of Comedy Series) Roseanne Cybill as well as Friends.
