Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone, born on 5th January 1986 (pronounced as [diPIkaPaduko or [paDuko(pronounced as [paDuko]) is an Indian actor in films. She is most often seen in films that are primarily Hindi-language. It is among the actresses with the highest salaries in India And her awards includes three Filmfare Awards. Time magazine ranked her as one of the 100 most influential individuals all over the world in 2018. The award also included an award called the TIME100 Impact Award for 2022. Padukone is her mother's badminton legend Prakash Padukone. She was raised in Bangalore and born in Copenhagen. When she was a teen she competed in badminton at national level championships but left her professional career to work as a fashion model. In the next few years, she started receiving requests to perform in films. Her debut performance was that of Aishwarya the Kannada lead character. Padukone then played the dual in the role as Shah Rukh Khan opposite her in Om Shanti Om (2007) Her debut Bollywood film. The film was awarded Padukone she won the Filmfare Award Best Female Debut. Padukone's leading role as the lead in Love Aaj Kal was well liked, but it came with an unexpected setback.
