She was recently an actor in the Netflix series Murderville episode-Who killed Santa. Coupe studied improvisational comedy at The Groundlings as well as ImprovOlympic. Coupe has toured France in 2003, playing a soldier in an all-female King Lear version. The one-woman show, The Patriots (a sketch show written by her) premiered in November 2005 at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She won the Breakout Performer Award at HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado in March 2006. Coupe was engaged to actor instructor and puppeteer Randall Whittinghill from December 2007 to June 2013.She announced her engagement to Darin Olien, who is the founder of the SuperLife, a lifestyle brand SuperLife, via Instagram on November 27, 2014. They were married on December 24, 2014 while on holiday in New Zealand. In 2018 they divorced. Between April 2011 until May 2013 Coupe was an actor on ABC's ensemble comedy series Happy Endings, along with Zachary Knighton (Adam Pally), Damon Wayans Jr., Casey Wilson, and Zachary Knighton. Despite critical acclaim and a fan base, the show was cancelled by ABC after the conclusion of the third season on May 3rd in 2013. Happy Endings was cancelled. She starred in a recurring role on House of Lies's third season and also appeared alongside Jay Harrington in Benched, which was a comedy series that aired on USA Network that premiered on October 28th on the 28th of October 2014. In the following season, she was Hannah Wyland, the FBI agent in the ABC series Quantico on ABC.
